The food is absolutely terrific. The service is a little off but again the food makes up for this. We've dined here three times and always a pleasure
The owner moved from my hometown Mt Clemens to Petoskey and I personally would do the same if I could - anyways - order their honeydew smoothie and try their pad Thai and you will understand that this specific location has the best menu in the state. I currently reside in Florida and plan to eat at this location when life permits.
We stopped on the way up north and ordered 2 different curry dishes. The food was delicious! We took it back to the hotel to eat. There was enough rice to feed 2 people. However, towards the end of the meal, I found a small hard piece in my foot. At first I thought it was a twig or hard vegetable piece, but it was a piece of METAL! Luckily, I did not eat it or accidentally slurp it down when I was sipping on my curry broth. But this is really off putting.
Came to this restaurant after going to the Pour and Bar across the street and leaving because of an extremely limited menu . So glad we did . Service was very good. Restaurant was crowded but we were able to get right in . Pad Thai Chicken and Beef Drunken Noodles were fresh , hot and delicious. Just the right spice at medium .Just the right portion , no take home necessary ( however would have been nice to have left overs ) not sure what the other people were eating but they were going home with a lot.
Second time we were here. All I can say is yum! I ordered chicken pad ty and my husband ordered duck curry both times. We also tried the spring and fried rolls. Everything was exceptional. Service was right on, even when it was busy.
Wonderful little shop in down town. Great spring rolls and crunchy rolls. Masman curry was full flavor and an excellent portion. Variable levels a spicy available which makes it great for all. We had chicken and vegetarian options. Park and eat, then enjoy the nice walk through the wonderful town of Petoskey.
Update! 3rd year in a row eating here and food was on par again. The lady at the front desk was snapping at everyone and beyond rude but it was just her. Maybe she was just having an extremely bad day. I won't let that 1 miserable person ruin our positive streak here. Second time coming here and can't wait to come again. Very consistent. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and quick, just what you would hope for going out to eat!
